last night after a gig i was so bored that i started reading the back of
a pack of RotoSound bass strings. on it was a list of RotoSound endorsees --
sort of a pantheon of jazz and rock bassists. anyway, there among the
Geddy Lee's, Stanley Clarke's, and John Entwistle's of the world was the
name John Prock. i know a great bassist from New Orleans from years ago
by that name, and i was wondering if anyone out there knew who he was.
if it's the same John Prock, he's prob'ly in some glam-metal-pop band these
days. thanks for any info.
is this seriously a post from 1990? I know a John Prock in Monterey, CA who owns a music shop, plays bass in some bands around town and used to work for some MAJOR bass manufacturers. Super talented. Told me he did hair stuff in the 80s.a pack of RotoSound bass strings. on it was a list of RotoSound endorsees --
